Returning to Purpose: Connecting Client Needs with Generous Hearts

For Nicole Moll, owner of Greyley Wellness, nonprofit work has always been close to her heart. Before founding Greyley Wellness, Nicole founded and led Box of Balloons, a national nonprofit that provided birthday parties for children in need. For 10 years, she helped grow a mission rooted in dignity, joy, and community support—ensuring that children and families who were facing hardship could still experience celebration and care.

Eye-level view of a community gathering focused on sharing resources

When Box of Balloons closed a few years ago, Nicole knew that chapter had ended, but the desire to serve through nonprofit work never fully left. She hoped that, at some point, there would be a meaningful way to step back into that world. As Greyley Wellness grew, that opportunity began to take shape in a new way. Through the work of the clinic, especially in partnership with the Dane County Comprehensive Community Services program, Nicole continued hearing about the need for intentional funding to help clients move forward in practical, meaningful ways.

Working alongside a team of service facilitators has given Nicole a direct view of the needs clients face every day. Sometimes those needs are not large or complicated, but they are deeply impactful: support with basic necessities, transportation, household items, wellness resources, or other needs that can create barriers to stability. When one need is met, it can relieve stress, restore hope, and help a client take the next step toward healing and independence.

Nicole’s heart is to help bridge the gap between those real-life needs and generous donors who want to make a difference. Through Greyley Wellness, she sees both the challenges clients are carrying and the power of community members who are willing to step in with compassion. This renewed connection to nonprofit work is not just about funding projects; it is about creating pathways for stability, dignity, and forward movement.

For Nicole, this next chapter brings together her years of nonprofit leadership, her commitment to mental health, and her belief in the power of intentional generosity. Greyley Wellness is uniquely positioned to identify meaningful needs and connect them with people who want to help. In doing so, Nicole is returning to a familiar purpose in a new season: building bridges of support so clients can experience hope, stability, and lasting change.
