Apply for Funding

Greyley Gives provides community-funded support for one-time needs that help individuals and families move toward greater stability. Funding requests are submitted by case managers, service facilitators, or other approved support professionals working directly with clients.

Applications are accepted on a quarterly basis. Because funding is limited, not every eligible request will be selected. Each application is reviewed with care, dignity, and attention to the client’s stated need, available resources, and potential impact.

Who Can Apply

Funding requests must be submitted by a case manager, service facilitator, or community-based professional working with the client.

To be considered, the client must:

  • Live in Wisconsin

  • Have a clearly defined, one-time need

  • Be working with a professional who can help complete and submit the application

  • Have explored other available resources before requesting Greyley Gives funding

  • Be seeking support for a need that promotes stability, dignity, and well-being

Clients do not apply independently. Applications should be completed collaboratively with the client, honoring the client’s voice, goals, and self-advocacy.

What We Fund

Greyley Gives funds one-time, clearly defined needs that are not otherwise met by existing resources. Requests should be practical, specific, and connected to the client’s stability or forward progress.

Examples of needs we may consider include:

  • Housing deposits or other housing-related start-up costs

  • Legal fees or court-related costs

  • Dental work or urgent oral health needs

  • Educational expenses

  • Transportation needs

  • Documentation or identification costs

  • Other practical supports that promote stability, dignity, and well-being

Greyley Gives is not intended to provide ongoing financial assistance or replace existing public benefits, agency funds, insurance coverage, or other community resources.

How the Process Works

A case manager or service facilitator works with the client to identify a specific one-time need and complete the funding application.

Greyley Gives reviews applications quarterly and selects a limited number of requests for potential funding. Selected requests are shared with community donors as meaningful opportunities to support real people through real needs.

If a request is selected and fully funded, payment will be made directly to the vendor, provider, landlord, school, agency, or other approved payee. Funds are not paid directly to the client.

Before You Apply

Before submitting a request, please make sure:

  • The client lives in Wisconsin

  • The need is one-time and clearly defined

  • The amount requested is specific and can be paid directly to a vendor or provider

  • Other available resources have been explored

  • The request is connected to the client’s stability, dignity, or well-being

  • The client understands and agrees to the application being submitted

Applications that include clear details, documentation when available, and a specific payment destination are best positioned for review.

Our Approach

Greyley Gives is rooted in dignity, self-advocacy, and community care. We believe that the right support at the right time can reduce barriers, create momentum, and help individuals and families move toward greater stability.

Our goal is to support clients in sharing their stories, identifying their needs, and accessing community support in a way that is respectful, practical, and person-centered.
